The VALLE D'AOSTA TRAILERS was set up to promote, organise outdoor sports activities.

It is a non-profit organisation, and all money raised from its activities is invested back into sport.
The VDA Trailers ssdrl have organised various events, such as:

• Gran Trail Valdigne - Valle del Monte Bianco: the first trail of over 80 km wholly in Italy – 87 km, altitude range 5100 m (www.grantrailvaldigne.it)
• The North Face® Ultra-Trail® du Mont-Blanc: the VDA Trailers are the organisers, together with the French association the Trailers du Mont Blanc, of this leading event, made up of four races and considered one of the most important in the world.(www.ultratrailmb.com)
• Arrancabirra: a (semi) serious 19 km race that takes place in Courmayeur in early autumn and attracts thousands of fans. (www.arrancabirra.it)
• Winter Eco Trail: winter race on the snow, some 18 km long, held in mid December.(www.winterecotrail.it)
