Rifugio Frassati - Courmayeur

From the shelter the path climbs and, with a long diagonal to the left, you reach the Col Malatrà (2925 m). From the Col Malatrà the descent continues in half-way up to the vast valley bottom crossed by the stream. In short you reach, without losing too much altitude, the junction that leads to Pas Entre Deux Sauts (2524 m) from which you proceed on the path that descends into the Vallone dell'Arminaz. Refreshment and control point. From the Arminaz alpine pasture (2009 m) cross the large bridge over the river, continue to the Lèche huts (1929 m) and then to the junction just above the Leuchey mountain pasture. From here, entering the forest of conifers, the trail rises slightly to reach the Refuge Bertone (1989 m). Refreshment and control point. From the Bertone refuge you descend towards the Val Sapin, the upper Villair (1389 m) and finally you arrive in Courmayeur! (1224 m).
