The Panathlon Club of Aosta Valley, in occasion of this edition of Tor des Géants, wants to assign a Fair Play Award to The Nicest Gesture of the Event.
Our Club, in Aosta Valley, has been promoting lot of initiatives which have permitted to spread the idea of sport, seen as a gesture inspired to Fair Play, respect for competitors, solidarity between people and cultures. Panathlon International is a Club Service with ethics and cultural aims; it wants to deepen and spread the value of sport with a strong and clear message: YES to passion, honesty and respect of rules and competitors, NO to doping and to winning with illegal methods.
The reliability and commitment of everyone who attend to the difficult job of organizing the Tor des Géants bring the sport back to his natural place, without all that excesses and degenerations which, too often, are a bad example for young people and for the sport itself.
Fair Play means… “ competing in an honest and loyal way, respecting ethics and the rules of sport, whichever you role is, even the audience”
Panathlon Club of Aosta Valley, then, will reward whoever will be protagonist of the gesture which, among all, will be expression of the value of sport and of a correct behaviour. It could, then, be a runner, a spectator, a volunteer, or whoever in whichever role.
Tor des Géants has become a beautiful “family” of truly lovers of sport and Panathlon International is proud to be part of it with this award. In order to make the best choice possible, we need to ask the help, the advices and the suggestions of you all.
We want to wish everyone a brighter and more satisfying future, with the success of our ethical values which represent the identity of the flame who spark in our logo.
