The new TORX® with Kailas poster pays homage to the Giants

The 2024 edition of TORX® with Kailas is already full of big news. The new poster, signed for the fourth year by Francesco Bongiorni, pays homage to the Giants who for ten days will be on the trails of Aosta Valley, encountering mountains, castles and villages. A journey that this year will see a new race, TOR100 - Cervino-Monte Bianco starting from Breuil-Cervinia.

"I have wondered many times what it would feel like to participate in the Tor Des Geants. To climb slopes at dawn and overlook endless vistas.. To follow the course of streams passing under rock pinnacles and the towers of ancient castles. I have done the illustrations for TORX posters for the past four years, and my drawings are nothing more than an attempt to imagine this path. To use my imagination to lose myself along this very long journey over the alps. I have been told that physical exertion and extreme conditions lead some athletes to experience hallucinations. So, even my journey, though dreamlike and imagined, is suspended between reality and dream. In a few months, athletes from all over the world will meet in Valle D'Aosta, Italy, to challenge themselves and their opponents along the steep ridges and trails lost in the mountains. Although the route is the same for all, each competitor will have a unique experience. Each will see a peak with their own eyes, gaze upon a valley while asking themselves their own soul-searching questions and feel the sensation of cold on their own skin. What you are seeing therefore, is my Tor. I walk it not with my legs but with my imagination. My hand, my pencil, my time. Welcome to Italy. Welcome to the Aosta Valley. Welcome to the Tor Des Geants, or at least, to how I imagine it". Francesco Bongiorni, creator of the "TORX® with Kailas" poster 2024
