A waiting and party day

A very festive climate in Courmayeur with informal but attended meetings that characterized the day before the departure of the Tor des Géants®, in its ninth edition.
Delivery of the bibs to all athletes, press conference, Vip athletes parade, finally pasta party and final briefing, important to let athletes know the latest news regarding the route, the rules and the weather.
An afternoon understood, very followed by the public, attracted also by the beautiful day that has illuminated and warmed Courmayeur, from where tomorrow, September 9th, 886 ultratrailers will take off (including 103 women) that will cover the 330 km of the race in maximum time of 150 hours. The first arrivals scheduled for Wednesday.
Departure at 12 o'clock and it will be another sport day.
